Healesville Sanctuary presents a unique, new opportunity to experience the Coranderrk Bushland as it comes alive at night...

‘Spirit of the Land' is offered to small groups to share with Murrundindi his personal story and the unique history of this very special and tranquil location.
You can walk through time with Murrundindi.

THE CORANDERRK BUSHLAND ...
is an area of over 100 hectares of relatively intact natural bushland managed by Healesville Sanctuary. It is powerful with history and the personal stories and lifetime experiences of Indigenous people.

The walk will highlight natural features, bush tucker and medicines as well as sites of great significance and historical importance in the shared story of this Land.

A light supper will be served after the walk in the Bush Hut in the heart of The Coranderrk.

WHEN
Saturday 5th September 2009

TIME
Meet in the main Visitor Carpark at 5 pm. Return by 9 pm.

COST
$80 per person.
(Numbers strictly limited and participants need to be over 16 years)

WHAT TO BRING
Torch, shoes, warm, comfy clothing, wet weather gear depending on the weather forecast, water to drink, snacks if required.
Be prepared for a good walk, some of it at night and some of it up hill.
No special level of fitness is required.
