Meet the Keeper

Scheduled everyday, you can learn about our most famous Australian animals such as koalas and kangaroos, and also our most threatened including the Tasmanian Devil. Our inspirational keepers share their unique knowledge and insights into the animals they care for.

Healesville Sanctuary is excited to introduce the team from the Healesville Hotel, our new food partners, bringing you a dynamic, passionate approach to food.  Visitors can enjoy sensational food, coffee, wines and high quality produce from local farms, orchards and artisan producers right here at Healesville Sanctuary.

Enjoy free guided tours.  Enjoy a great meal with a Yarra Valley flavour at the newly renovated Sanctuary Harvest or buy a gourmet BBQ pack (book on arrival) and take advantage of our free BBQ facilities. Wheelchairs and pushers are catered for, as are group bookings.

Begin or end your day in the Sanctuary Shop, renowned for beautiful gifts, original Aboriginal artworks and iconic Australian clothing including UGG Boots and Drizabone.
