Zoos Victoria offers two styles of learning experience at Melbourne Zoo, Werribee Open Range Zoo and Healesville Sanctuary:

1. Visit with a Discovery Session

Choose a topic focus from our School Programs.

Contact us to make a booking with the following details:

• Date
• School address
• Phone and fax number
• Email address
• Time of arrival and departure
• Contact name of teacher
• Number of students/classes and their year level
• Learning program focus

Note: the minimum group size is 12. If you have a smaller group booking, you may pay for 12 students or contact a neighbouring school and organise a joint excursion.

2. Self-guided Visit

Contact us to make a booking with the following details:

• Date
• School address
• Phone and fax number
• Email address
• Time of arrival and departure;
• Contact name of teacher
• Number of students/classes and their year level

At Melbourne Zoo, picnic pavilions are available ($50 per day) and can be booked at this time.

At Healesville Sanctuary, picnic areas are available. For reservations and pricing please contact the bookings officer on (03) 5957 2826.

At Werribee Open Range Zoo you will be able to book a Safari Tour at this time which is included in the admission price.

An educator will call you in the week prior to your visit to confirm the details and content of your Learning Experiences session.
