When your school group arrives at Melbourne Zoo, Werribee Open Range Zoo or Healesville Sanctuary, you should expect the following:

Supervision

• Students remain the responsibility of their teachers at all times
• It is important that students move respectfully throughout each property and consider animals and members of the public
• Ensure students understand the needs of the animals and behave accordingly; avoid loud noise and sudden movement near animals
• Do not attempt to feed any of the animals
• Students must be supervised by a teacher when entering the retail outlets
• Ball games and whistles are not permitted on any Zoos Victoria property

Storage
Locker storage is available for bags and lunches. Please enquire at Admissions on arrival. The cost is:

Melbourne Zoo: $7 per day, includes $5 refund upon return of key
Healesville Sanctuary: Lockers are free of charge
Werribee Open Range Zoo: No lockers available

Discovery Sessions and Safari Tours
Discovery Sessions and Safari Tours are planned to a set timetable and cannot be altered. 

Safari Tours at Werribee Open Range Zoo are rostered to strict departure times so ensure your arrival time is a minimum of 30 minutes prior to your set booking.
