Funny Features of Special Creatures provides an exciting opportunity for young children to discover, interact and observe the incredible animals at Werribee Open Range Zoo. The experience will create a sense of wonder and awareness of the special features of a variety of animals at the Zoo, and the way in which these features contribute to the animals’ survival. The Early Childhood Program at Werribee Open Range Zoo allows for self-directed learning by presenting experiences that will encourage children to actively explore and learn. It is expected that such experiences will foster discovery and creativity in the children, whilst allowing for continued development of an inquisitive mind and a greater connection with the natural world.
