The seals and penguins have just moved into their new homes, and they're settling in now before Wild Sea opens to visitors on Wednesday, December 9^th.

The five seals are exploring their amazing pool, which has a wave machine that can create three levels of wave action.

The pool is more than 5m deep, and features huge underwater windows.

The penguins are also experiencing a much deeper pool, more than 3m deep, and they're selecting their new burrows.

This will be the first time that Melbourne Zoo visitors will  be able to see the amazing agility of swimming penguins from an underwater perspective.

Wild Sea will also showcase a wide variety of other Victorian marine wildlife, both fish and invertebrates.
