Function Venues and Outdoor Areas
The Rainforest Room
The Rainforest Room is set beside a tranquil lake with views of the awe-inspiring Japanese Garden, and features a large private aviary full of Australian Rainforest birds. Providing a wonderful environment for your guests, the room has access to outdoor landings with lovely Zoo views. Full of natural light, the room has cathedral ceilings, a permanent dance floor and a private bridal suite for you and your bridal party.
Capacity: 85 for dinner 170 for cocktails
The Lakeside Room
The Lakeside Room is a wonderful room for larger wedding receptions. It overlooks the picturesque Japanese Garden and Lakeside Terrace, with an open floor plan and modern atmosphere. The Lakeside Room has a permanent dance floor and fairy lit windows. Capacity: 130 for dinner 250 for cocktails
The Carousel Park Marquee
The Carousel Park Marquee is a permanent structure near the magnificent historic carousel recently restored by Heritage Victoria. The marquee is fully equipped with air conditioning and a movable dance floor, and is suitable for larger groups. The 19th-century English carousel can be booked as part of special events in the marquee.
Capacity: 300 for dinner 600 for cocktails.

The Trail of the Elephants
The exciting Trail of the Elephants offers two delightful options, catering for both indoor and outdoor events from the casually informal cocktail party to the Asian-inspired elegant sit-down dinner.
Trail Room capacity: 130 for dinner, 250 for cocktails.
Trail Verandah capacity: 120 for dinner, 220 for cocktails.
