Werribee Open Range Zoo is located 35km west of Melbourne’s city centre, on the Princes Freeway. It is a short 30-minute drive from the city over the Westgate Bridge or via the Geelong Road. Take the Werribee South exit to K Road.

The Zoo is conveniently located close to the Melbourne central business district, Geelong, and Tullamarine and Avalon airports, and is on the way to the Great Ocean Road. It is also a major attraction on the Great Southern Touring Route and the Bay Tour.

Catch a train from the city to Werribee (Werribee Line).

Buses from Werribee station to the Zoo depart at the following times:

Werribee Park Shuttle

You can also catch the Werribee Park Shuttle from Melbourne to Werribee Open Range Zoo. Services run every day with four pick up times available from the Victorian Arts Centre where you will be dropped off at the Zoo front entrance and then picked up again for the return trip back to the city.
