Habitat detectives

Understanding the natural habitats where animals live brings a new perspective to ideas of ‘home’

Habitat Detectives introduces the concept of habitats as homes for wildlife. A zoo educator guides students to look closely at the environment that surrounds them, investigating the natural beauty of a grassland, forest and wetland habitat.

Once students have explored these habitats and searched for clues, they are able to meet some of the exciting creatures that like to live there.
