Do you want to help save endangered animals?
Come and work as a keeper at Healesville Sanctuary next school holidays and get up close to some of our most precious and endangered nocturnal Australian animals. Be the first to go behind the scenes and meet our amazing keepers looking after threatened species including Tasmanian Devils and Mountain Pygmy Possums.
Keeper for a Day allows participants to work in the sanctuary for the day, helping out our keepers and learning about one of the most rewarding jobs!
You will go behind-the-scenes, taking part in many daily duties of a threatened species keeper, which could include:
- Food preparation
- Animal enrichment
- Health checks
- Animal contact
