Wild Dogs Cafe
This brand new 100% gluten free café offers tasty, fresh Mexican snacks including tortilla crisps, Mexican corn cobs and soft tortillas with a range of luscious fillings. Grab a refreshing Corona or treat yourself to some Ben & Jerry’s ice-cream for dessert. Sure to get you in the festive mood, the Wild Dogs cafe is a fun way to enjoy a taste of Mexico on a warm summer's evening.
Rumbles Snack Shack
This outlet has something for everyone including crispy fish ‘n’ chips, calamari cones and freshly made sushi. Other tasty nibbles include Victorian cheese plates or dip served with freshly baked bread from the Zoo Bakery. Choose from a selection of hot and cold beverages including sparkling, beer, wine and soft drinks. Plenty to satisfy your hunger here!
Gourmet BBQ Stand
There’s nothing quite like the smell and sizzle of a summer BBQ. The gourmet bbq stand will have you salivating with a range of gourmet hot dogs on offer alongside a bar for wine, beer and soft drinks. Collect your pre-ordered picnic hamper at the desk located on the right hand side.
Reptiles Bar
Beside the reptile house near the back of the lawns, you can pick up a wine, beer, soft drink or hot beverage of your choice.
The Lion Bar
Located next to the Lions this caravan offers a range of beverages including wine, beer and RTDs as soft drinks and water.
Drinks
Twilights is a fully licensed event, please note BYO is not available. Our bars provide a range of alcoholic drinks including a selection of beer, wine, spirits and sparkling wine available by the glass and bottle. Non-alcoholic beverages are also available including soft drinks and water.
Packaging
All our food packaging is fully compostable or biodegradable. Please be kind to the environment and dispose of your rubbish thoughtfully.
Cash only
Please note, there are no EFTPOS services available at food and beverage outlets. Please remember to bring cash as there will only be limited access to one ATM located on-site at the Zoo.
Liberty Catering Concepts
Liberty Catering Concepts are the Zoo’s dedicated caterer. Our food philosophy is simple. Low food miles, sustainable product and when they can, we make it on-site. So you’ll be enjoying fresh coriander from our Zoo garden in your Mexican salsa and freshly made bread from our on-site Zoo Bakery with your cheese plate. Proudly awarded Victoria’s top venue caterer at the 2012 Savour Australia Restaurant & Catering Awards for Excellence, your food offer is in very capable hands!
VIP Picnic Hampers
$85 for two people
Available for pre-order for any Twilight evening.
Pre-order a gourmet picnic hamper to collect on the night, bring a picnic rug and enjoy the show. The perfect, no-fuss option to enjoy some delicious nibbles! Hampers include:
- Babaganouj and Meredith goats curd with crudités and toasted flatbread
- Chicken and mayonnaise finger sandwiches
- Spicy nuts
- Mini vegetarian quiche
- Vegetarian sushi
- Prawn and rice noodle salad, nam jim dressing
- Chocolate walnut brownie
- Strawberries and cream
Information
Hampers can be collected from Pavilion 5 (closest to the Lions exhibit and opposite Wild Dogs Cafe, refer to map) inside Melbourne Zoo from 5:30pm. We are unable to provide any variations to the food offer above. All packaging is bio-degradable and environmentally friendly.
Hampers can be booked when buying tickets.

5:30 - Assemble at VIP Area outside the Rail Gate entrance at Melbourne Zoo, Poplar Avenue, Parkville. You will be escorted to the VIP Pavilion. Picnic rugs and limited seating are provided.
6:00pm - Private cash bar opens.
7:00pm - Food served and concert begins.

Located in the stunning Leopard Lodge, enjoy a delicious two course meal and then wander to your nearby exclusive viewing area at the open pavilion to enjoy an ice-cream and watch the show!
