Werribee Open Range Zoo and Shadowfax Wines have joined forces to create the perfect day out in Werribee Park.

Your Shadowfax and the Savannah package begins at Werribee Open Range Zoo with an Open Vehicle Adventure. For this exciting Africa safari experience, you will meet one of our expert guides and board a specially designed open vehicle which accommodates only 12 people. Heading off road you will be completely immersed in the sights, smells and sounds of the savannah as you travel across the Zoo's open plains spotting rhinoceros, giraffes, zebras and antelopes!

From Werribee Open Range Zoo, take a five minute drive around to the stunning Shadowfax winery.  Here you will relax in the winery's contemporary surrounds and enjoy a two course rustic-Italian inspired lunch featuring the freshest and finest seasonal produce.  Following your lunch, linger as long as you like, tasting Shadowfax's range of new release wines and soaking up the winery's unique hospitality and ambience.

This self-drive package is perfect for a day-trip from Melbourne or Geelong or for visitors staying overnight. The package includes:

  • General  admission to Werribee Open Range Zoo
  • Open Vehicle Adventure at Werribee Open Range Zoo
  • Two course meal and glass of wine at Shadowfax Winery
