Discover how to teach Science using Australian animals, conservation stories and ethics.

During this online PD, you will:

  • Explore the features, life cycles and adaptations of Australian animals and the environments they call home.
  • Learn about Aboriginal perspectives, custodianship, and sustainable management of Country.
  • Investigate the importance of environments to animals and people and how your class projects can support local community conservation.
  • Explore Healesville Sanctuary and learn real-life Science and Geography skills.
  • Connect with Sanctuary Teachers and other classroom teachers.
  • Enjoy a catered morning tea and lunch
