Immerse yourself in the created natural environment of our Pythons.
Come Behind the Scenes with one of our trained Reptile Rangers and learn about the shy and sometimes adventurous nature of our resident pythons. The Reptile Ranger will deliver many fun facts and can give you some insight into caring and respecting these beautiful animals.
Each encounter will be different as our Rangers let the individual animals have choice and control on how they participate.
Be sure to check in at the ticket office at least 30 minutes prior to your encounter to collect your wristband and get ready to learn new things about our scaly friends. The encounter is a brief experience that lasts 10 minutes, however, please plan up to 15 minutes to meet your Ranger and hear the safety briefing.
When you purchase a Close-up Encounter, you are directly contributing to Zoos Victoria's work to fight wildlife extinction.
