What is the Bluey Live Interactive Experience?

The Bluey Live Interactive Experience family-friendly stage show featuring Bluey, her little sister Bingo. The show is being held outdoors on the lawns of Melbourne Zoo and invites children and their families to sing, dance, and play along with Bluey’s adventures.

When is the event taking place?

The Bluey Live Interactive Experience will run daily from 8 March to 30 March.

What time are the shows?

The show will be held daily at the following times:

  • 10:30am
  • 11:30am
  • 12:30pm
  • 1:30pm
How long is the show?

Each show lasts 20 minutes.

Where is the show located?

The show will take place at the Rail Gate Lawns inside Melbourne Zoo.

Can I attend the show if I am not a Zoo member?

Yes! The event is included with standard entry to Melbourne Zoo, so you can still enjoy the Bluey Live Interactive Experience with your regular admission.

Is the Bluey Live Interactive Experience included with Zoo entry?

Yes, the experience is included with your Melbourne Zoo entry. You can purchase your Melbourne Zoo tickets here.

Do I need to book tickets to attend the Bluey Live Experience?

No, you are not required to book tickets to attend the show but will need to have a Melbourne Zoo admission ticket or your Zoos Victoria membership to access Melbourne Zoo and enjoy the show.

Do I need to book my Melbourne Zoo tickets in advance?

While regular entry to Melbourne Zoo doesn’t require advance booking, it’s highly recommended to purchase your admission tickets to Melbourne Zoo in advance. You can purchase your Melbourne Zoo tickets here.

Can I upgrade for a better experience?

Yes! You can upgrade to a Platinum Ticket for just $22 per person ($20 member price). Platinum Tickets guarantee a front-stage spot for the best view of the show and 20% discount on merchandise from zoo retails shops.
Platinum Tickets are limited and expected to sell out quickly, so be sure to book in advance.

Is there an age limit for the event?

The Bluey Live Interactive Experience is designed for families, especially young children. While there is no official age limit, the show is best suited for children aged 2-7 years old.

Will there be Bluey and Bingo meet and greets available?

While we'd love to see Bluey and Bingo high-five you in person, there are no meet and greets available for this show. But don’t worry—Bluey and Bingo will still be there in full, vibrant action on stage, bringing all the fun and adventures you know and love! So get ready to enjoy the show, and maybe you'll catch a wave from them from afar!

Will the shows be seated?

Seating is not provided for the Bluey Live Interactive Experience. We encourage you to bring a picnic blanket and find a spot on the Rail Gate Lawn to enjoy the show.

Can I bring my own seat to the show?

You may bring your own chair. However, all chairs will be required to sit at the rear of the Rail Gate Lawn to ensure no obstruction of views for other patrons.

Are there any food and beverage options available at the venue?

Yes, we will have food and beverage options available at Melbourne Zoo on the day of your visit.

Is the event wheelchair accessible?

There will be wheelchair access and designated accessible viewing area for each show.

What should I bring to the show?

Bluey Live Interactive Experience is an all weather event so we recommend dressing for the weather bringing sunscreen, hats, and water bottles.

Can I take photos or videos during the show?

Yes, you are welcome to take photos and videos of the performance as long as it does not disrupt the experience for other guests.

What happens if it rains?

Melbourne Zoo is an all weather venue and the shows will continue to run in the event of rain. A show will only be cancelled in the event of extreme weather and at the discretion of Zoos Victoria.  All efforts will be made to communicate any cancellations via Zoos Victoria website. Unfortunately, umbrellas are prohibited for the duration of each performance so that all guest's views are not restricted.

Is parking available at Melbourne Zoo?

Car parking is $2 for a five-hour ticket and is run by Melbourne City Council.

During peak times, we do our best try to get you parked and into the zoo as quickly as possible. Please follow instructions from our parking attendants when it's busy.

Melbourne Zoo is also accessible by multiple public transport options including train, tram and bus.
